The development and introduction of career guidance mechanisms based on digital technologies will not only increase professional quality, but also bring economic benefits. The development of mathematical modeling of knowledge expression in the career guidance system is the basis for the development of automated information systems. This study examines the mathematical modeling of a career guidance system based on multifactor rating data. The Shortliff and Buchanan models in the expert information system of career guidance and the performance functions of this model are described in detail.
